LED technology in service of modern plant cultivation

Amiplant actively collaborates with academic institutions and research institutes, providing specialized LED lighting systems that meet the most stringent research requirements. One of the company’s key scientific partners is the Institute of Plant Breeding and Acclimatization – National Research Institute (IHAR) in Radzików.

Cooperation with IHAR

As part of its ongoing research into accelerating the breeding cycle of crops (including common wheat and barley), the Institute has selected Amiplant to:

• designing LED fixtures according to the required light spectrum,
• manufacturing equipment to the institute's strict specification,
• supplying lighting systems for phytotron chambers.

The phytotron chambers are equipped with specialized 5-channel and 8-channel lighting fixtures that enable precise control of the light spectrum and photosynthetic parameters. Amiplant’s solutions have been tailored to meet very high, specialized research requirements, ensuring:

• full control over the light spectrum,
• stability of operating parameters,
• repeatability of experimental conditions,
• possibility of conducting research on accelerating the plant life cycle.
